The heart behind how I serve you.
That belief shapes the way I approach every wedding. It’s also been shaped by my own life. After a significant loss in my family, I came to see more clearly what endures. When no more new memories can be made, what remains are the memories we hold—and the photographs that help us return to them. The photographs of my marriage, my family, and the generations before us are among my most treasured possessions, and they’ve only grown more meaningful over time.

Photography has been part of my life for over two decades, beginning in the darkroom where I developed black and white film and documented everyday moments for my high school yearbook. While much has changed since then, what draws me to photography has stayed the same—creating something lasting and beautiful from genuine moments with the people you care about, and preserving them in a way that endures.
Most days, you’ll find me at home with my husband and our two little boys—soaking in the joy and beautiful chaos of family life. It’s in these everyday moments that I’m reminded how meaningful it is to hold onto what matters. I’m drawn to quiet, reflective spaces and the natural beauty of the outdoors. At the same time, I deeply cherish time with my closest friends and the kind of relationships that are built with care over time.
I believe marriage and family are sacred, and my faith in Christ shapes the way I approach both life and my work. It grounds me in what is lasting and meaningful, and guides the care and intention I bring to every wedding day.
Of all the decisions and plans that my husband and I made together during the wedding planning process, hiring Lucy was our absolute favorite part of it all. Truly. No other experience was as easy or as fun as talking with Lucy and planning our day with her! We felt seen and understood from the very first conversation with her. Lucy wasn't just another vendor, she was genuinely invested in the whole journey from the early stages of planning to actually capturing the most precious moments in the most beautiful and creative ways.
