I’ve lived in Charlottesville for a decade and visited myriad wineries in this area. The vineyard lawns are atop a hill and directly face the mountains with a perfect view of sunset – golden hour here is ethereal and romantic like no other.

Secondly, Pippin Hill’s dedicated team focused on catering to your unique needs, operates an all-season, full-service establishment. The Granary and Veranda offer multiple gorgeous ceremony locations, both indoor and outdoor, with climate control, providing you with the perfect built-in rain plan! The wine and cuisine here are truly world class, and will be sure to delight the palettes of you and your guests.

Lastly, this is a stunning place to take your wedding portraits! From the iconic hydrangea path to the vineyards overlooking the mountains, the quaint greenhouse to the farm and gardens, you’ll have no shortage of frame-worthy, artistic photographs from your wedding day.

Accommodations and Amenities

Pippin Hill Weddings allow you multiple event spaces to design the wedding of your dreams. 

• Vineyard + Main Lawn – These two areas are ideal for an outdoor ceremony featuring iconic nature scapes as backdrops. The Vineyard Lawn can host up to 140 guests, and the Main Lawn up to 200.
• The Veranda – in this space, you will feel like you are in Tuscany or Provence. It is perfect for cocktail hours and indoor ceremonies, especially when the weather is colder. It is a 1,800-square-foot space that can be paired with the nearby courtyard for a combination of indoor and outdoor event space. It can accommodate up to 100 guests indoors and can also be used for intimate receptions. You can choose to leave the blinds open for an al fresco feel or closed for privacy.
• The Granary – this indoor 3,600-square-foot establishment blends modern amenities with rustic charm. You can easily accommodate up to 200 seated guests for your reception.
• The Tasting Room – a wonderful indoor spot for your cocktail hour or as an extended bar area if you opt for the Veranda or Granary.

The Pippin Hill Farm has a variety of price ranges, all depending on different factors.

• Custom packages range from $5,000 to $22,000, depending on season and day of the week your wedding takes place, along with your guest count.
• Food and beverage estimates depend on the same factors, ranging from $19,000 to $55,000.
• You can choose from three bar packages (Classic, Premium, and Luxury) which cost between $90 and $115 per person
