Early Mountain Vineyards weddings take place at an award winning tasting room on a picturesque estate across 305 acres. The Event Hall is one of the most stunning in the area, and its vaulted ceilings and dramatic fireplaces are incredible backdrops for receptions and ceremonies alike any time of year.

Brief History

Early Mountain Vineyards began in 2005 when Jess and Sharon Sweely planted the first vines on the property. It became the luxury wedding venue we know today when current owner Jean Case and her husband purchased and renovated it in 2010. By 2012, Early Mountain Vineyards was open for service and did so phenomenally that it purchased the neighboring Quaker Run Vineyard in 2015.

Early Mountain Vineyards offers a mix of luxurious and modern amenities for your wedding at this venue. It can host up to 200 wedding guests and offers indoor and outdoor celebration options. Early Mountain Vineyards is one of the most versatile wedding venue options year round. There are few other venues in the area that have such equally beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces.  The panoramic mountain views, manicured vineyards, and hydrangea gardens offer beautiful spots for first looks and portraits. 

Event Hall

The Event Hall at Early Mountain Vineyards is a uniquely gorgeous space with vaulted ceilings. It also comes with a grand fireplace that creates a warm and welcoming environment. Most receptions are held here, and it is also an excellent ceremony location for colder months, inclement weather, or those who prefer an indoor option. It is rare to have such beautiful options for indoor and outdoor ceremonies at one venue! The Event Hall can host up to 200 guests.

Great Lawn

The Great Lawn is a stunning ceremony location with expansive mountain views and beautifully kept gardens on the perimeter. You can also see the historic barn past the gardens. It is an idyllic place to say your vows. The gardens provide a beautiful backdrop for romantic bride and groom portraits.

Tasting Room

You’ll love the classy and spacious atmosphere of the Tasting Room at Early Mountain Vineyards. This is the very room that was voted number 1 tasting room in America in 2016. This space is perfect for cocktail hour and has a large lounge with beautiful cocktail tables and chairs. It also opens up to an outdoor patio overlooking the mountains.

The Terrace

The Terrace is just outside the Event Hall and extends into the Great Lawn. It is a gorgeous place for your cocktail hour. Your guests can peruse the various seating areas or sip their cocktails as they walk along the Great Lawn and enjoy the sunset colors.

The Wine Library and Lounge

If you’re planning an intimate wedding celebration, the Wine Library and Lounge are for you. Known for its lovely wooden details and coziness, this space is also perfect for special getting-ready moments with loved ones. You can use it for your rehearsal dinner too.

You and your bridesmaids can get ready at the charming Guest Cottage which offers an expansive view of the mountains. It’s the perfect spot for epic bridal and bridesmaids portraits! The groom and his groomsmen can relax away in the lounge at Early Mountain on oversized chairs. After your wedding, the Guest Cottage is also perfect for a romantic honeymoon suite. 

Catering

Early Mountain Vineyards also has a phenomenal culinary team to handle your wedding catering. For couples who love good food, Early Mountain offers exquisite seasonal farm-to-table cuisine by Executive Chef Tim Moore.

Rentals

For rentals, Early Mountain Vineyards has an assortment of wedding chairs, farm tables, and cocktail tables. They come as part of the wedding package alongside bistro lights, wine barrels, linens and tableware. All this makes wedding planning a lot easier!

Early Mountain Vineyards Wedding Cost

Weddings at Early Mountain Vineyards cost between $9500 to $12500 depending on the season, whether it’s a holiday weekend, and whether you opt for the one hour early rental fee. They also require in house catering and have a food and beverage minimum of $18000.
