The story of Keswick Hall in Keswick, VA, dates back to 1912. It was here that Robert and Florence Crawford established Villa Crawford, serving as the centerpiece of their estate. For many years, this Italianate home remained a private estate before being transformed for commercial use. By 1949, a golf course was added to the property.

In the 1990s, Sir Bernard Ashley embarked on a remarkable renovation journey, investing over $35 million to transform it into a renowned destination resort. In 2022, Keswick Hall was re-imagined and re-opened with grand modern features while still preserving its original splendor and history.

The Great Lawn and Oval Lawn offer spectacular views and can accommodate large sailcloth tents with ease. These outdoor spaces encompass 3,500 square feet and can host up to 500 guests! This makes Keswick Hall a top choice for the grandest wedding celebrations. If you prefer a smaller outdoor celebration, the North Event Plaza and South Event Plaza provide 1,400 square feet of space, still offering the same exquisite views.

Indoor Spaces

If you prefer an indoor space, Keswick Hall also offers a number of options. With over 4,000 square feet of indoor event space, the Keswick Ballroom takes center stage. Its Georgian-Italianate style exudes timeless charm and appeal. The ballroom can be left open to accommodate up to 240 guests or sectioned off into three separate spaces, making it perfect for more intimate events with as few as 50 guests.

While there are a variety of options that allow you to customize your to their culinary offerings, the price is typically $130 and up per person for catering with bar packages that begin at $49 per person. This cost includes round tables, Mahogany Chiavari chairs, white folding ceremony chairs, ivory place settings, linens, and votive candles. Holding your ceremony here will cost an additional $750.
